This year, as well as all our tried and trusted pub favourites “a la carte”, we’ll be offering a French-style three course fixed price menu with a choice of starters and main courses, plus our usual varied selection of desserts.

Choose all three courses for under £20 or select just a starter and main course or main course and dessert at a lower fixed price. Keltek Cornish Brewery now has its own wine importing division called Wine in Cornwall so watch out for a much enhanced selection of fine wines.

DAILY FISH SPECIALS ! Our selected fish from Newlyn comes from Julian Smart. The choice of fish can include whole plaice, hake fillet, brill, & whole lemon sole. Occasionally we get turbot. We have also been able to offer whole sea bass, sea bream and gilt-head bream. Every week is different.

Our Phil is an experienced pub chef with over 30 years in the kitchen and so you know that your meals will offer great value and consistent quality.

People are consistently amazed at how Phil manages to provide a hearty roast dinner on Sundays at a price that would be hard to match cooking it yourself at home. At home, ‘though, it’s not really practical to offer a choice of three different meats every weekend. It’s no wonder that much of the village of Summercourt doesn’t bother to cook on Sundays any more!
