WELCOME TO CORNWALL’s HISTORIC LONDON INN – the ancient former coaching house in the village of Summercourt – conveniently placed just off the main A30 trunk road and where you can be sure of a warm welcome, fine ales, excellent value wines and hearty meals. Our fish of the day is listed on the A board outside the front door of the pub.
Your hosts Phil and Linda Aubrey have created a homely atmosphere and Phil is renown for his food – especially his stir fries and incredible value Sunday lunches. The pub is small and cosy – decorated with unusual red brick walls on the inside. There is ample room for dining.
Recently restored by its new owners The Keltek Cornish Brewery, the pub won third prize in the Newquay in Bloom competition 2013 just 3 months after reopening with its brand new roof and newly decorated exterior.
There is a very large car park and it’s very easy to find. At the London Inn we have a very strong reputation for keeping real ales in perfect condition and we often welcome members of CAMRA. With a newly refurbished cellar we are able to make sure that the choice of ales changes regularly and this can range from IPAs to Best Bitters & Special bitters. Mild ale is very popular here at the London Inn and we have regular guest ales from all over the UK thanks to Keltek’s National Beer Swaps programme.
